And when [that] came Our messengers (to) Lut he was distressed for them, and felt straitened for them (and) uneasy. And they said, "(Do) not fear and (do) not grieve. Indeed, we (will) save you and your family, except your wife. She (is) of those who remain behind.
And when Our messengers came unto Lot, he was sorely grieved on their account, seeing that it was beyond his power to shield them; but they said: “Fear not, and grieve not! Behold, we shall save thee and thy household - all but thy wife: she will indeed be among those that stay behind
And when Our messengers came unto Lot, he was troubled upon their account, for he could not protect them; but they said: Fear not, nor grieve! Lo! we are to deliver thee and thy household, (all) save thy wife, who is of those who stay behind
And when Our Messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account, and felt himself powerless (to protect) them: but they said: "Fear thou not, nor grieve: we are (here) to save thee and thy following, except thy wife: she is of those who lag behind
And when Our messenger-angels came to Lot, he was distressed and worried by their arrival. They reassured ˹him˺, “Do not fear, nor grieve. We will surely deliver you and your family—except your wife, who is one of the doomed.
And when Our Messengers came to Lot, they were mistreated, and he was troubled and distressed on their account, because he felt powerless to protect them. They said, "Fear not, nor grieve. We will save you and your family, except your wife; she's among those who will remain behind.
When Our messengers came to Lot, he was troubled and distressed on their account. They said, Have no fear or grief. We shall certainly save you and your household, except your wifewho will be among those who stay behin
And when Our messengers came to Lut he was grieved on account of them, and he felt powerless (to protect) them; and they said: Fear not, nor grieve; surely we will deliver you and your followers, except your wife; she shall be of those who remain behind
And when Our messengers drew near Lot, he was troubled because of them and he was concerned for them, distressed, and they said: Neither fear nor feel remorse. Truly, we are ones who will deliver thee and thy family but thy woman. She had been among the ones who stay behind.
When Our messengers came to Lot, he felt wretched because of them, for [his] ability to protect them was so slender. They said: "Do not fear nor feel so sad. We shall save you and your family, except for your wife; she will be one of those who will stay behind.
And when Our Messengers (angels) came to Lot, he was grieved because of them, felt distressed for them, and was unable (to protect them). They said: “Do no fear and don’t grieve! Truly, we shall save you and your family, except your wife, she will be of those who remain behind.
And when Our envoys came unto Lot, he was distressed on their account; yet he was constrained from helping them. And they said, “Be not afraid, nor grieve. We shall surely save thee and thy family, save for thy wife; she is among those who lagged behind
And when it so happened that Our messengers had reached Lout, he felt concerned about them; and became, because of them, constrained. And (providing him assurance) they said: “Fear not, and do not grieve! Surely, we are rescuers to you and to your family except for your wife. She has become of those who bury themselves under dust and debris
And when Our Messengers (angels) came to Lot he became sad and anxious on their account, for he felt powerless to protect them. But they said "Do not fear nor grieve (we are the angels assigned for their torment): we shall save you and your family except your wife; she will be of those who will remain behind
Then, when Our envoys came to Lot, they were mistreated, and he was troubled and distressed on their account. They said, 'Do not fear, nor grieve. We will save you and your family, except for your wife, who will remain behind.'
And as soon as Our Messengers (readily) came to Lut, he was vexed on their account and (his expediency) was straitened for them (i.e., He felt his hands tied up). And they said, "Do not fear nor grieve; surely we will safely deliver you and your family, except your wife; she has (become) of the laggards
When Our angelic Messengers came to Lot, he was grieved and depressed to see them. They told him, "Do not be afraid or grieved. We will rescue you and your family except your wife who will remain behind
And when Our messengers came to LuT, he grieved for them and his heart was straitened because of them, but they said, .We are going to save you and your family, except your wife who will be among those remaining behind
When Our Messengers came to Lot, he was grieved on their account, for he could not protect them. But they said, "Fear not, nor grieve! Behold, we are appointed to save you, your household and your followers, except your wife who is of those who stay behind
When Our angels came to Loot, he felt bad and became uneasy about them. They said, "Do not be afraid, and do not grieve. We are surely going to rescue you and your family, except your wife. She is to be among those staying behind."
And when Our messengers came to Lut (Lot), he was sad because of them (his people), and felt himself without power (to save) them: They (the messengers) said: "Have no fear, nor be sad: We are (here) to save you and your family, except your wife, she is from those who will fall behind
And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was distressed for them and felt for them great discomfort. They said, "Fear not, nor grieve. Indeed, we will save you and your family, except your wife; she is to be of those who remain behind
Thus when Our messengers came to Lot, they were mistreated, and he was embarrassed towards them. And they said: "Do not fear, and do not be saddened. We will save you and your family, except for your wife; she is of those doomed."
When Our messengers came to Lot, he was troubled and distressed on their account. They said, ‘Have no fear or grief: we shall certainly save you and your household, except for your wife- she will be one of those who stay behind
And when Our messengers came unto Lut, he was distressed on their account and felt straitened on their account. And they said: fear not, nor grieve: verily we are to deliver thee and thy household, save thy wife: she is to be of the lingerers
So, when Our messengers came to Lot, he was worried on their account as he was unable to protect them. They said: "Have no fear or regret. We will certainly save you and your family except your wife, for she is one of those who will stay behind
When Our Messengers came to Lut, he was distressed on their account, feeling incapable of protecting them. They said, ´Do not fear and do not grieve. We are going to rescue you and your family except for your wife; she will be one of those who stay behind.
And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was troubled on their account and felt himself powerless to protect them. They said: "Do not be worried, nor be grieved. We are going to save you and your family except your wife who (as has been decreed) is among those who will stay behind (and be destroyed)
And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was distressed on their account and in a predicament for their sake. But they said, ‘Do not be afraid, nor grieve! We shall deliver you and your family, except your wife: she will be one of those who remain behind
And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was troubled on account of them, and felt powerless to protect them. But they said, "Fear not, neither grieve; we are about to save you and your people, except your wife, who is of those who lag behind
And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was upset about them and he felt uneasy about them, and they said: do not be afraid and do not be sad, for we are you and your family’s savior except your wife who is among those staying behind
And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was grieved on their account, and felt powerless to protect them, but they said, “Fear not, nor grieve, we are here to save you and your following, except your wife, she is of those who lag behind
When Our messengers came to Lut, he felt distressed since he couldn’t protect them, but theangels said, “Don’t be afraid or sad. We are here to save you and your household, except for your wife, who will remain behind.
When Our emissaries came to Lot he was distressed and embarrassed on their account. They said: "Do not fear nor be distressed. We shall save you and all your household except your wife who is among those that will stay behind
And when Our messengers came to Lot, they were mistreated, and he was embarrassed towards them. And they said: "Do not fear, and do not be saddened. We will save you and your family, except for your wife; she is of those doomed.
And when Our Messengers (angels) came to Lot, he was worried about them, and he felt powerless to protect them. And they said, "Fear not, nor grieve. We shall indeed save you and your household except for your wife. She is to be among those left behind
And when Our angels came to Lut, their coming became unpleasant to him and on account of them his heart was straitened, but they said, 'fear not and nor grieve, undoubtedly, we shall deliver you and your family but your wife, she is among those who remain behind'.
When our messengers arrived at Lot's place, they were mistreated, and he was embarrassed by their presence. But they said, "Have no fear, and do not worry. We will save you and your family, except your wife; she is doomed.
And when Our Messengers came to Lot, he was troubled and distressed on their account. But they said: 'Have no fear, and do not be sad. Surely, we will save you and your family except your wife, she has become of those that shall remain behind.
And when our messengers came to Lot, he was grieved on account of them, and he lacked strength to protect them. And they said: Fear not, nor grieve; surely we will deliver thee and thy followers, except thy wife -- she is of those who remain behind
And when that Our messengers came (to) Lot he felt bad/evil/harm with them, and he was impatient with them/unable to do or accomplish what ought to be done (became troubled), and they said: "Do not fear, and nor be sad/grievous, that we are saving/rescuing you and your family/people except your woman (wife) was from the remaining behind."
When My messengers arrived at Lot’s place, he became embarrassed [as his people wanted to molest them.] They said: “ Have no fear and do not worry. We are going to save you and your household except your wife who should stay [and be punished] with the wicked ones.”
And when Our sent angels came to Lut, he was unhappy at their arrival and was depressed – and they said, “Do not fear or grieve; we will surely rescue you and your family, except your wife, who is of those who will stay behind.”
And when Our Messengers came to Lot, he was distressed on their account and felt powerless with regard to them. And they said, `Fear not nor grieve, and we have been charged with the divine message: `We will, surely, save thee and thy family except thy wife, who is of those who remain behind
And when Our messengers (angels) came to Lut (Lot), he felt distressed (on their arrival) and felt depressed for their (intention to torment). And (the messengers) said: ‘Do not feel afraid or grieved. We shall no doubt save you and your family except your wife. She is of those who will remain behind (for torment)
And when Our messengers came to Lot he felt distressed on account of their (coming) for he felt helpless to give them protection. But they (- the messenger) said, `Have no fear and do not grieve, (Allah promises you protection saying,) "We will deliver you and all your household except your wife (who will not leave the place stricken with calamity and) who is among those staying behind
And when Our Messengers came to Lout (Lot), he was grieved because of them, and felt straitened on their account. They said: "Have no fear, and do not grieve! Truly, we shall save you and your family, except your wife, she will be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed along with those who will be destroyed from her folk)
When that Our messengers came to Lot he was troubled on their account and distressed for them; but they said, 'Fear not, neither sorrow, for surely we shall deliver thee and thy family, except thy wife; she has become of those that tarry
And when our messengers came unto Lot, he was troubled for them, and his arm was straitened concerning them. But they said, fear not, neither be grieved; for we will deliver thee and thy family, except thy wife; for she shall be one of those who remain behind
And when our messengers came to Lot, he was vexed for them, and his arm was straitened for them; and they said, 'Fear not, neither grieve; we are about to save thee and thy people, except thy wife, who is of those who linger
And when our messengers came to Lot, he was troubled for them, and his arm was too weak to protect them; and they said, "Fear not, and distress not thyself, for thee and thy family will we save, except thy wife; she will be of those who linger
And when Our emissaries came to Lot, he was troubled and distressed on their account. They said: ‘Have no fear, and do not grieve. We shall deliver you and all your household, except your wife, who shall remain behind
When Our messengers came to Lot, he was stressed because of them. He was worried and felt powerless for them. They said, “Fear not and don’t be worried. We will certainly save you and your family, except your wife. She is among those who will stay behind.

Then when Our messengers arrived at Lot's, he was terribly grieved on their account and felt powerless to protect them; but they said: 'Have no fear, and do not grieve. We shall certainly deliver you and your household, except your wife. She will indeed be among those who stay behind.
When Our Rasuls came to Lot he felt distressed for them and great discomfort (about what may transpire)... (Our Rasuls) said, “Do not fear or grieve! Indeed, we are here to save you and your family... Except your wife, she has become of those who remain behind.”
And when Our messengers came to Lot he was grieved on their account and distressed for them; but they said: �Fear not, nor grieve, for verily we shall deliver you and your family, except your wife, she shall be of those who stay behind
And when Our Messengers went to Lut he came to grief on their account, and their safety was beyond his power. But they assured him: "Do not be afraid," they said, "nor must you grieve, we will deliver you to safety along with your family but not your wife who shall join company with those destined to be left behind."
So when the messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on account of them and distressed on account of them (because of his) incapability (to protect them), but they said, “ Do not fear, nor grieve, we will certainly save you and your followers except your wife, she will be of those who remain behind.
And when Our Messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account, and felt himself powerless (to protect) them: but they said: "Fear thou not, nor grieve: we are (here) to save thee and thy following, except thy wife: she is of those who la g behind
